Runa Laila Madam is inspiration for my song: Kona

Subcontinent’s renowned artiste and composer Runa Laila, who is one of the most popular artistes of this generation in the music scene of Bangladesh, is the inspiration for Dilshad Nahar Kana’s song.

From her childhood Kona used to listen to all the songs of Runa Laila and sing those songs.

Everyone in the family, including father, mother, and friends had the expectation that one day Kona would grow up to be a famous singer like Runa Laila.

With that dream and hope, she developed herself in music since childhood.

Being like Runa Laila, it was a matter of great inspiration to the next generation of artistes of Runa Laila.

Kona once met Runa Laila while walking in the world of music. With the blessings of Runa Laila, Kona got more inspired and continued to try to establish herself in the world of music.

At that time Runa Laila wrote, “I watched the movie ‘Toofan’ a few days ago. I enjoyed it very much.

The production style of the movie was good and Shakib Khan did well as usual. Two songs have been really beautifully composed, sung and shot.

I liked two songs that. But my personal preference is ‘Dustu Kokil Dake Ku Ku Ku Ku.’ Heart touching tune and Kona sang very beautifully. Best wishes for her next project.”

Seeing this status of Runa Laila, Kona could not understand what to reply.

I didn’t believe that he was a big-hearted, great artiste, we got proof again. Allah blesses her, keep her healthy. And it is absolutely true that respected Runa Laila Madam is the inspiration of my song.

I am moving forward with him as the inspiration of my music. Of course I always want to make good music. Since getting this inspiration from Runa Madem, I have become more focused on my music.”
