Mim at centenary celebrations of Lux

Bidya Sinha Mim is the ‘Lux-Channel i Superstar’ of 2007. After winning the crown as a Lux superstar, she impressed the audience by acting in the movie ‘Amar Achhe Jol’ directed by Humayun Ahmed.
After that, Mim acted in many television dramas. This actress has gained fame by working as a model in advertisements.
Among the film actresses of this generation, Bidya Sinha Mim’s personal life is just as wonderful as she has also excelled in the world of acting. Wherever she worked Mim left her mark of talent. When she used to act in dramas, she impressed the audience by acting in good story based dramas. Again, when Mim left the TV dramas and became completely engrossed in the movies, she tried to give her best.
Mim won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her performance in the movie ‘Jonakir Alo’ directed by late Khalid Mahmood Mithu.
In the year 2022, in the movie ‘Poran’, directed by Raihan Rafi, Mim played the central role of the story and she was recognized by the audience as a cast actress. Mim’s excellent performance in this movie made the audience to the cinema hall.
After that, Mim’s performance in the same director’s movie ‘Damal’ was also appreciated.
The first award giving ceremony of the Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association is going to be held on May 11. In this event, the Best Actress award could go to Mim.
On Sunday, a special event was organised on the occasion of Lux’s centenary in a five-star hotel in the capital. Lux superstar Bidya Sinha Mim will participate in this event. She will perform at the event. After becoming a Lux superstar, Mim has worked as a model in several Lux advertisements. Meanwhile, Mim played the role of martyred intellectual Shahidullah Kaiser’s wife, Panna Kaiser in the movie ‘Digonte Fuler Agun’ directed by Wahid Tarek.
Shahidullah Kaiser-Panna Kaiser’s daughter noted actress Shomi Kaiser is very satisfied with Mim’s performance in this movie.
While talking in this regard, Bidya Sinha Mim told this correspondent, “Lux is actually intertwined throughout my life. Lux-Channel i is the beginning of a new horizon in my life as a superstar. I am able to attend Lux’s centenary today – it is also a different kind of pleasure for me. And acting is my profession. When I act in movies or web series, I do it with full attention. I have never thought about which one will actually bring the reward, which one will not. However, I tried to present myself properly in the movie ‘Digonte Fuler Agun’.”
