Ishwardi Jubo League leader hacked to death

A case has been registered in the police station against 24 named and unknown persons in the case of the hacking of a Jubo League leader in Ishwardi due to a land dispute. In this clash, Jubo League leader Khairul was killed and Isaac Ali’s wrist was cut off.
Relatives and residents of the area formed a human chain on Wednesday (April 24) demanding the arrest and trial of the killers of Jubo League leader Khairul Islam in Ishwardi.
Chargargari village of Sahapur union of the upazila has become manless due to fear of arrest after filing the case. On this occasion, there was an incident of looting people’s houses outside the village and taking various valuable items including cows, goats, paddy and rice. Later, a large number of police have been deployed for the overall security of the area.
Some of the housewives of that village including Hosne Ara and Chaleha Begum complained that a case of murder has been filed in the police station with anonymous accused.
