Body of 7-year-old boy recovered

Nageswari Thana police in Kurigram recovered the body of a 7-year old boy from Boalerdara area near a paddy field of Nageswari municipality area in the evening on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Ariful 7 son of Rabiul Islam of village of Boalerdara under the municipality.
Local sources said Ariful’s father divorced his mother Asia Khatun due to family feud and went to Cumilla town to drive Rickshaw leaving him to his grandfather Iman Ali. On the day of incident Ariful was in his house up to 12.30 pm and later he was not traced. His dead body was found near a Boro paddy field about half kilometer far from his house in the same day. Police however recovered the dead body.
Inspector (Investigation) of Nageswari police station Sarwar Parvez told this correspondent that we are suspecting that he may be slipped in the irrigated paddy field and died.
