Balaganj BNP’s Dina to take part in UZ polls

The third phase of this year’s upazila parishad election is scheduled to be held on May 18. As the election time approaches, the activities of potential candidates are increasing. Several candidates of Awami League and BNP are already vying for the post of chairman and vice chairman (male and female) in Balaganj upazila.
The young politician Sultana Rahman Dina (Dina Rahman) is now at the center of voters’ discussion among the possible vice chairman candidates in Balaganj upazila. She is serving as Assistant Women Affairs Secretary of Sylhet District BNP and Office Secretary of Sylhet District Mahila Dal.
Dina said, I want to be a candidate for the post of Vice Chairman with the aim of working for the socio-economic development of Balaganj Upazila. If I am elected, I will continue to make maximum efforts from my position for the development of people.
As I am a BNP worker, the party will take the final decision regarding participation in the the election. If my party (BNP) permits, I will definitely contest. If there is a free, fair and impartial election, I will win inshallah, she said.
