Masuduzzaman elects Citizens Bank’s EC Chairman

Masuduzzaman has been elected chairman of the executive committee of Citizens Bank PLC’s board of directors, according to a press release.

The bank’s board unanimously elected him to the position, according to a press release inviting him to serve as executive committee chairman.

A sponsor director of Citizens Bank, Masuduzzaman has more than 28 years of experience in Bangladesh’s ready-made garment sector.

He is the founder and managing director of Modele De Capital Ind Ltd, Rhine Dress Ltd and Sadia Fashion Wears Ltd.

He has also been involved in textile backwards-linkage businesses through Embro Arch, Ocean Colour, Step To…Rainbow, Atlantic Accessories, Sadia Packaging and Accessories and Keyama Colour.

The government has recognised Masuduzzaman as a commercially important person for six consecutive terms for his contribution to the country’s export sector.

He currently serves as a director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board and contributes to cricket development in the country.

Masuduzzaman is also a former vice-president of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association.

Besides his business activities, he is involved in corporate social responsibility, social welfare, humanitarian initiatives, sports and community development.
