Bangladesh take 157 position, according to latest FIFA ranking

Bangladesh has taken 157 spot in the world football, according to the latest FIFA ranking.
Earlier, Bangladesh’s place was 165. Bangladesh achieved the 30th place in Asia. India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, the other South Asian countries are far away from Bangladesh. Bangladesh improved their position in world football as the Tigers became runners-up in the recently concluded Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament. Bangladesh lost to Malaysia in the final by 3-2 goals.
Bangladesh started their Bangabandhu Gold Cup International Football Tournament with a sorrow note as the hosts lost to Malaysia 1-0 in their inaugural match of Group A.
Later, Bangladesh reached the semi-final when they beat Sri Lanka by a solitary goal in their last Group A match.
Then Bangladesh moved to the final when the home side beat Thailand by 1-0 goals in the second semi-final.
