‘No substitute for skilled technical education’

The annual prize distribution, cultural program and class party were held under the chairmanship of School Principal Md. Mokhleshur Rahman under the management of St. Cosmo School at Bandar Republic Club in the city on November 18 last.
Alhaj Abul Bashar Abu, chairman and CEO of Bashar Group, noted educationist and social personality was the chief guest of the event.
The chief guest said that the skilled manpower is the economic resource of the country, the more that power is created through technical education and training, the more the economic driving force will be enriched. There will be more opportunities for self-reliance.
Developed countries, especially China, Japan, Germany, are creating a large number of entrepreneurs along with institutional education, which is attracting foreign investment.
The chief guest also said that many changes are needed in the education system to create an environment for creating entrepreneurs, teachers should be more sincere towards students to gain various experiences including technical education.
Parents as well as teachers have many roles in shaping students’ lives.
