This generation’s favourite dancer, actress and presenter Mim Chowdhury is working non-stop in dancing, acting and presentation.
Her journey in the media started with the dance reality show titled ‘Nacho Bangladesh Nacho’.
Since then, she is consistently started her journey mainly in dancing, acting and presenting.
Although Mim is basically a dancer but now she is busy in acting and presenting.
At this time, one of the most popular music programmes on Global TV is ‘Music Night’. Every week from Thursday to Saturday at 10:30pm this programme is being aired on Global TV.
And this programme is presented by Mim. She has been presenting this programme for the past one year.
Mim’s this beautiful journey began with an Eid event and music performances by Luipa, Liza, Kornia and Zhilik.
Khairul Wasi and Mukta Sarkar will be seen performing music in the presentation of Mim on the screen of Global TV tonight at 10:30pm.
Meanwhile, drama serial ‘Char Chokkor’, directed by Nazrul Islam Raju, is being aired on Maasranga TV. Mim Chowdhury is playing a central role in the story of the serial.
Therefore, Mim will also be seen in Ezaz Munna directed new drama serial titled ‘Parallel’, which will go on air on Channel i soon.
In recent times, two dramas starring Mim with Mosharraf Karim have come into much discussion. One is Imran Howlader directed drama ‘Haramkhor’ and another is SR Majumdar directed ‘Panic Husband’.
Meanwhile, Mim Chowdhury has acted in three movies so far. These are: Shafi Uddin Shafi directed ‘Bhalobasha Express’, Proshoon Rahmaan directed ‘Sutopar Thikana’ and Nasim Sahanik’s ‘Goyendagiri’.
Although Mim is reluctant to call ‘Goyendagiri’ a film. According to Mim, she was cast here to work in a telefilm. But later Mim saw that it was aired as a movie on Channel i.
While talking about her journey in the media for more than 10 years, Mim Chowdhury told this correspondent, “To be honest, I feel more comfortable introducing myself as a dancer.
Then I am an actress and then I am a presenter. I got a chance to work with so many big artists when I came to act; I got some chance to enrich my acting.
I want to see myself in a better position in acting. And of course I have sincere gratitude to my audience.”
