Shokh returns to acting after a break

After a long break, popular model and actress Anika Kabir Shokh has returned to acting.

This time she returned to acting by playing a role in a drama titled ‘Koku’ written and directed by Maidul Rakib.

Shamim Hasan Sarkar will act opposite Shokh in this drama. The shooting of the drama was completed at various locations in the capital’s Uttara area on Friday and Saturday.

Shokh informed this correspondent that she will play the role of Nabila in the drama ‘Koku’.

She liked the story and worked in this drama. While talking in this regard, Shokh told this correspondent, “I started acting again after my daughter’s birth. Yes, it’s true.

I can’t work continuously because of my daughter. But when I get a good story, my mother and husband helps me a lot. Then I can do the work with proper concentration.

The same thing happened in the drama ‘Koku’. After Maidul Rakib sent me the story, I felt that I could do this work.

All in all, I did it with love. Kochi Khandkar Bhai, Shaheed Un Nabi, Shamim Hasan Sarkar, and others who were there were very helpful. Director Maidul Rakib has produced the drama with the utmost care. I hope everyone will like it.”

Apart from acting, Shokh is also trying to be regular in stage shows. A few days ago, she danced in a stage show.

Shokh has acted in two movies so far. One was MB Manik directed ‘Bolo Na Tumi Aamar’. Shakib Khan acted opposite her in this movie. Another was Saniat Hossain directed movie ‘Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo.’

Meanwhile, recently, Shokh was present as a special guest at the opening of Neha’s beauty studio ‘Perfect Line’.
