Housewife gang raped in Ishwardi

A 23-year-old mother-of-one housewife was allegedly gang-raped at a coaching center on Shershah Road in Ishwardi.

As soon as the complaint of rape was filed at the police station, the police arrested an accused named Ajaharbhukt.

This incident took place at the Ambition Korean Language Coaching Center on Tuesday afternoon, August 29.

Two days after the incident, the victim filed a case at Ishwardi police station late on Thursday, August 31.

Arvind Sarkar, officer-in-charge of Ishwardi police station, said that the victim filed a statement with her mother and husband late on Thursday night.

Nahian Islam Nahid, the owner of the famous accused coaching center, was arrested late at night after receiving the rape complaint.

He is the son of Shahnewaz Islam Hiroz of East Tengri Eidgah Road.

Police action is underway to arrest 2 more unidentified accused.

According to the statement, the complainant Darshita was married 6 years ago to Shah Alam of Mashuriya Para (behind Aftab’s wood mill) in the municipal area.

They have a son.

The victim asked Nahian Islam Nahid to find a teacher to teach her son.

On the afternoon of August 29, Nahid asked him to come to the coaching center for a discussion on teaching his son over mobile phone.

At around 4:30 pm, the victim went to the coaching center and found two more strangers sitting.

As soon as the victim entered the room, the door was closed and her face was held and the three took turns to rape her.
