Miley drops last name from her name

American pop star Miley has hinted at a new chapter in her career.

Along with announcing the release of a new album, she also dropped the ‘Cyrus’ surname from her name on social media.

This raises the question, is this just a promotion for a new musical chapter, or is the Grammy-winning star really starting her journey with a new identity?

Miley’s 10th studio album ‘Bess Persuaded’ is being released on September 18.

The album consists of 10 songs. A day before the album announcement, she removed the name ‘Cyrus’ from all her social media accounts and changed her name to just ‘Miley’.

Miley told ‘Wonderland’ magazine that the new album is essentially a love story.

But that love is not one-dimensional; rather, it includes many levels of life.

Her relationship with longtime boyfriend Max Morando also influenced the album’s concept. The couple announced their engagement last December.
