Schedule of Bashundhara Kings finalised for AFC Cup

The schedule of Bashundhara Kings for the AFC Cup has been finalised.

The draw ceremony of AFC Cup was held at Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia on Thursday.

The headquarter of Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is situated at Kuala Lumpur.

Bashundhara Kings failed to reach the group phase of AFC Champions League as they lost to Sharjah FC in their play-off match on August 15.

Thus, Bashundhara Kings, which emerged the champions in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football for four consecutive times will play in the second tier of the Asian Club Tournament.

The clubs of the South Asian Region will play in the Group-E.

Bashundhara Kings of Bangladesh, Odisha FC of India, Mazia S& RC of Maldives, Mohun Bagan AC of India will compete in the AFC Cup.

The football meet will be held on home and away basis.

The top team of the Group-E will play in the next round.

The last edition of the AFC Cup group phase was held in single league basis due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Bashundhara Kings will take on Mazia S&RC in their away match at Male, the capital city of Maldives either September 18 or September 19.

Bashundhara Kings will host Odisha FC at the Bashundhara Kings Sports Complex in Dhaka on October 2 or October 3.

Basahundhara Kings will play against Mohun Bagan AC in their away match at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, the former capital city of India on October 23 or October 24.

Bashundhara Kings will host Mohun Bagan AC in their home match on November 6 or November 7.

The BPL Football champions will take on Mazia S&RC in their home match on November 27 or November 28.

Bashundhara Kings will face Odisha FC in their home match on December 11 or December 12.
