OTT platform contains subject of indecent representation: Purnima

Dhallywood’s popular actress Dilara Hanif Purnima has made it clear that she will not work on OTT platform. As the reason, she said, there is the issue of indecent presentation of character.

The actress said this in an interview given to a media recently.

Purnima said that so many of the works she has done on OTT were guest appearances.

She is regularly getting offers to work on OTT platforms. But she is not doing.

While talking in this regard, Purnima told this correspondent, “I think OTT platform does not go with me.

There are matters of indecent representation of character on OTT works.

When I did not present myself indecently in that bad time of the movie, now at least OTT platform is out of the question.”

Purnima is currently busy with family and her daughter.

The actress told this correspondent that she will return to acting if she gets the role she likes.

She is still not getting anything she likes.

While talking in this regard, Purnima said, “Everything has some dislikes.

But I am getting a call to present programmes. Let’s see what happens.”

Purnima said that she is also doing the work of presenting the programme selectively.

This actress is also talking about honorarium as the reason.

She gets a call to present the show either alone or in partnership with popular actor Ferdous.

It is no longer done because it is a suitable honorarium, according to the actress.

Purnima does not want to act in drama for now.

She is not in favour of doing whatever comes in front of her.

She feels comfortable working selectively.

For this reason, Purnima is now unwilling to work in these dramas.

While talking about her acted movies, Purnima told this correspondent that she has already completed the dubbing of movies ‘Gangchil’ and ‘Ahare Jibon’, which awaiting release now.

About the movie ‘Jam’ in which she acted, Purnima said, “Like Dhaka, it is also stuck in jam.”
