Bangabandhu’s indomitable spirit inspires new generation to achieve goals
City Desk :
The country’s new generation is following the indomitable spirit and life and works of Bangabandhu for achieving their cherished dreams.
“In Bangabandhu’s entire life, we find perfect examples of patriotism, humanity, respect towards his political and academic mentors which developed him as a great leader of masses and the greatest Bangalee of thousand years,” said Fuad Hossen, general secretary of Dhaka University Debating Society (DUDS).
On the eve of martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu, he said Bangabandhu’s charismatic leadership skills, art of oratory, admirable personality, integrity, honesty, and undisputed lifestyle will be a great source of inspirations to youth in generation after generation, reports BSS.
Noting that Bangabandhu had struggled until his death for establishing people’s rights and emancipation of the commoners, Hossen said Sheikh Mujibur Rahman appeared to be an emblem of struggles for the exploited people across the world transcending boundaries of this soil.
Bangladesh Chhatra League’s Dhaka University unit president Mazharul Kabir Shayon said Bangabandhu’s ideology, political dedication and mesmerizing speeches will remain as great source of inspirations for the people specially the youths all over the world.
“Bangabandhu’s life and work is a textbook to us,” he said.
Fairuz Abontika, a law student at Jagannath University, said it is possible to translate the dream of Bangabandhu into reality to build a Sonar Bangla if all irrespective of opinions make combined efforts to build an equity-based society breaking the shackle of exploitation.
From very early age of life, Bangabandhu’s unparallel humanitarian qualities and his profound love for people developed him as a leader of the masses, she said.
“Young Mujib used to bring underprivileged children at home and insist his mother on entertaining them with foods,” Abontika added.
