James in rest now after returns to country

A few days ago, James, the popular band artiste of Bangladesh,
performed at a concert at Gaines Field at Detroit in Michigan, USA. At the end of last month, this
festival titled ‘North American Bangladeshi Festival 2023’ was held for three days. ‘Nagar Baul’ James performed here. The whole festival around him was frenzy.
This ‘Nagar Baul’ was the big star
of this festival for 22 years. Many
people came with their families,
relatives, sons and daughters,
parents to see this fair. The days became joyful in the hectic of
expatriate life without rhythm.
The fair turned into a gathering.
On the last day of the fair, at 10:00pm, Nagar Baul James came on stage wearing a Gamchha (towel) on his forehead. Thousands of spectators burst into applause and cheers. Guru famed James performed his popular songs one after another. At the end of the performance, James told to his audience, “I’ll see you again if I live.”
James returned home after the concert. He took part in a concert in the country on August 5 after coming to the country.
He is scheduled to participate in a few more concerts this month.
Manager of James, Rubaiyat Thakur Robin told this correspondent, “For now the Guru (James) is taking rest. But sometimes he is participating in one or two concerts. He has no work outside of it. However, plans for new songs are underway.”
“However, if there is anything new, everyone will be informed. There is no new news for now,” he also said.
Meanwhile, like last time, the living legend of the country’s band industry Mahfuz Anam James appeared with a new song on the moonlit night of the Eid-ul-Fitr. The song was released on Bashundhara Digital channel.
Before this, he released a new song titled ‘I Love You’ on 2022. The audience liked it.
James has given numerous popular songs in the country’s band music industry for a long time. Notable among them are: ‘Taray Tarai’, ‘Laise Fita Laise’, ‘Sultana Bibiana’, ‘Hoteo Pare Ei Dekha Shesh Dekha’, ‘Kobita Tumi Swapnocharini’, ‘Dustu Chheler Dol’, ‘Didimoni’, ‘Dukkhini Dukkho Korona’, ‘Tor Sob Kichute Noy Chhoy’, ‘Baba Koto Din Dekhi Na Tomay’, ‘Guru Ghor Banaila Ki Diya’, ‘Likhte Parina Kono Gaan Tumi Chhara’, ‘Ek Nodi Jamuna’, ‘Maa’, ‘Banmgladesh’, etc.
Therefore, James has also rendered playback songs in Bollywood movies.
