Calefato to leave BCB on compassionate grounds

UNB, Dhaka :
Julian Calefato, the National Lead Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Manager of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), will be departing from his permanent position due to compassionate reasons.
Calefato’s decision comes as his companion has experienced a recurrence of a serious illness, requiring extensive medical attention in the foreseeable future. After completing his notice period, he will be returning to the United Kingdom at the end of this month.

Having served as the National Team Physiotherapist for two years until November 2021, Calefato took a sabbatical from international cricket with the BCB. He then had a successful season in County Cricket with Derbyshire before rejoining the BCB in January this year as the National Lead Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Manager, based in Dhaka
