Ananta Hira elected President, Sagor General Secy of Directors’ Guild

Ananta Hira has been elected as the President, while Kamruzzaman Sagor as the General Secretary of the Directors’ Guild, an organisation of television drama directors in Bangladesh. The election of Directors’ Guild for the year 2023-2025 was held last Friday on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in
the capital’s Segun Bagicha area, said a press release.
Kaisar Ahmed, Manoj Sen Gupto and Ashraful Alam Rantu have been elected vice-presidents of the Directors’ Guild where Rasheda Aktar Lajuk and Firoz Khan elected as joint general secretaries, Shamim Reza Juwel elected as organisational secretary uncontested, Abu Raihan Juwel elected as finance secretary, Jahir Khan as publicity and publication secretary, Shuvro Khan as training and archive affairs secretary, Sobuj Khan as information and technology affairs secretary, Tarik Mohammad Hasan as law and welfare secretary and Saidur Rahman as office secretary.
Besides, S M Shahidul Islam Runu, Gazi Apel Mahmud, Din Mohammad Montu, Nasir Uddin Masud, Firoj Ahmed Dulal, Shahin Mahmud and Syed Awlad elected as executive committee members.
