Bumrah will be out of action till WC

Jasprit Bumrah underwent back surgery in Christchurch, and according to news reports from New Zealand, both the procedure and the cricket player are doing well.
The BCCI’s medical staff has created a timeline for his recovery that calls for him to start training and bowling again by August. After that, his workload will gradually increase with the goal of getting him fully fit for the World Cup (WC). Since withdrawing from the home white-ball series against South Africa in late September of last year due to a stress reaction in his lower back, Bumrah has not played in any cricket matches.
