Gazi Mazharul Anwar remembered with respect, his written song was released on YouTube

On the occasion of the birthday of Gazi Mazharul Anwar, a renowned lyricist, producer, director, storyteller of the subcontinent and Ekushey Padak and Swadhinata Padak winner, a special programme titled ‘Alok Sondhya’ was held at his daughter singer Dithi Anwar’s residence in the
capital’s Gulshan area on February
23 evening.
Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s family initiative, especially his wife Zohra Gazi and two children – daughter Dithi and son Upal, made the programme a successful event especially the stars of the cultural arena of the country coming to the event. Therefore, Gazi’s relatives were also present on the occasion.
While showing their respect and also expressing their affections and loves to Gazi Mazharul Anwar, Suchonda, Suborna Mustafa, Ferdous Ara, Champa, Rumana Islam, Omar Sani-Moushumi, Ferdous, Tareen, Ananta Jalil-Borsha, Nipun, Misha Sawdagor, Nusraat Faria, Kona, Imran, Elita, Rizia Parvin, Alam Ara Minu, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shaon and many more spoke in the programme.
The main objective of the programme was to present a theory about eight songs written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar, with the new musical arrangements by Emon Saha, conceived by Rashid Khan.
And releasing the song titled ‘Tumi Arekbar Ashia’ in the voice of Animesh on YouTube channel of ‘IPDC-Amader Gaan.’ The main singer of this song was Rathindranath Roy and its tune and music were composed by Alauddin Ali. As soon as the song was released at the event, a joyous love spread among all present.
At the beginning of the programme, Upal and Dithi showed respect and expressed their feelings to their father. Then Zohra Gazi, Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s younger brother Imrul Anwar Liton and many others spoke on the occasion.
While talking about arranging the programme, Dithi Anwar shared her feelings by this way in this regard, “Everyone loves my father so much that once he was invited they rushed to the function, paid tribute, mainly because my father. This really touched my heart deeply. This arrangement around Abbu was a different kind of gathering of several generations. I have my sincere gratitude to all and to the IPDC family.”
At the beginning of the programme, Apu Aman performed the song.
Then Anupama Mukti, Dithi, Upol, Rizia Parvin, Alauddin Mimi, Shahnaz Belly, Champa Banik, Sabbir Zaman, Sushmita, Nondita, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shaon and many more rendered songs one by one in the programme.
