Condition of Kumar Bishwajit’s critically injured son improves but not out of danger

The condition of Nibir Kumar, son of Bangladeshi legendary singer Kumar Bishwajit, has slightly improved. But he is not out of danger, said family
members quoting doctors.
Nibir Kumar was injured critically in a tragic road accident at Toronto in Canada and is currently undergoing treatment at St Michael’s Hospital.
He has been kept at intensive care unit (ICU). He has already undergone surgery. He needs more surgery. A large portion of his head and eyes were damaged in the road accident. He also suffered chest injuries, said the physicians of the hospital. His parents – Kumar Bishwajit and Naima Sultana — are now in Canada.
From Canada, Kumar Bishwajit said that Nibir had already undergone two surgeries after being admitted to the hospital. The first was a brain surgery to remove the blood clot that had formed. The second surgery was the aforementioned stomach surgery. There is also a possibility that he might have to undergo further surgeries. Elaborating on the issue, Kumar Bishwajit said, “Nibir may have to undergo another surgery. The doctors believe that he may have had a stroke as well. Once his breathing is stabilised, and he regain consciousness, then we will see about this third surgery.”
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a vehicle was involved in an accident on Highway 427 at West Dundas Street in Toronto, Canada.
According to the Bangladesh expatriates in Canada, Nibir was driving a car which was very speedy. He lost the control while getting from one highway to another highway. It was slightly curved there. The speeding car rammed the highway railing and then turned turtle thrice. Instantly, fire broke out inside the car. There were four passengers in the car at the time of the accident. They are all Bangladeshis. Three of them were killed on the spot. The remaining one was Nibir who sustained major injuries. The three deceased were Shahriar Khan, Angela Shreya Baroi and Aryan Alom Dipto.
