Bakery factory gutted in Fakirhat

A factory of Mohona Bakery, situate in Fakirhat Bazar under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat was gutted completely when it caught fire in the early hours of Tuesday, according to a report received here. Being informed of the matter a Fire Service Unit of Fakirhat Fire Station rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after a long fighting for one hour.
But in spite of that the bakery factory with all its belongings (including machineries and food grains for making bakery goods) were burnt to ashes. Khokon Shaikh, the owner of the bakery factory claimed, the loss is about Tk.1 (one) lakh. Md. Shamsur Rahman, Officr-in-charge of Fakirhat Fire Station told, perhaps, the fire originated from blasting of a gas cylinder in side of the factory. Md. Manwar Hossain, UNO of Fakrhat visited the place of occurrence at the night.
