Finance Minister assures support for BFFEA

A delegation of the Bangladesh Frozen Foods Exporters Association (BFFEA), led by its Acting President Md Tarikul Islam Zahir, met Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury at his office in the Bangladesh Secretariat on Monday.

During the meeting, the BFFEA delegation highlighted the key challenges, opportunities and policy issues facing Bangladesh’s frozen food export sector.

The finance minister listened attentively to the concerns raised by the industry representatives and assured them that the government would take necessary steps to address the sector’s pressing issues and support its continued growth.

Among others, BFFEA Vice-President Sheikh Kamrul Alam and directors M A Hasan Panna, Md Jalal Uddin, A K M Fazlul Haque, Shyamal Das, Mehedi Hasan, Md Hefzur Rahman, Bashir Uddin Ahmed Sagar and Syed M Istiaq were present at the meeting.

The association expressed optimism that government support would help strengthen Bangladesh’s frozen food export industry and enhance its competitiveness in the global market.
