Obaidur Rahman appointed housing secy

The government has appointed Md Obaidur Rahman as secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, transferring him from his previous post as secretary (attachment) at the Ministry of Public Administration.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Thursday announcing the transfer.
According to the notification, Obaidur Rahman has been posted to the Ministry of Housing and Public Works as secretary.

The ministry said the transfer was made in the public interest.

The notification also stated that the order would take effect immediately.

Before the transfer, Md Obaidur Rahman had been serving as secretary (attachment) at the Ministry of Public Administration. The latest posting places him in charge of the administrative leadership of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
