Workshop held in Lalmonirhat

A day-long training workshop titled workshop of focus group on data monitoring and supervision was held in Lalmonirhat on Sunday under the initiative of the Management Information System (MIS) Unit of the Directorate of Family Planning. District Family Planning Department organized this workshop. Md Shahadat Hossain, Director of MIS Unit and Line Director (MIS) of Directorate of Family Planning, Dhaka, was present as the chief guest in this workshop held in the local RDRS auditorium under the chairmanship of District Deputy Director Dr. Md. Harunur Rashid. MIS Unit Deputy Program Manager Md. Zahidul Islam conducted the session as a resource person in the workshop and assisted by Data Entry Operator Md. Anwarul Islam and Md. Shahabuddin Biswas.
A total of 22 family planning inspectors from five upazilas of the district participated. Every month the Family Planning Directorate reports the progress of family planning, maternal, child, reproductive health and adolescent health services from the field level to the national level. Such workshops are organized to ensure that these reports are presented accurately and accurately. The workshop showed the trainees hands-on report preparation with progress reports achieved and presented over the past 12 months. Besides, recommendations are presented through party presentations.
It may be noted that the MIS unit of the Directorate of Family Planning has launched e-MIS program and paperless report for preparation of online reports. E-MIS is already running in 40 districts and paperless in 12 districts. All the districts will be brought under this program gradually.
