Motorcyclist killed in Katiadi road accident

A motorcyclist was killed and another was seriously injured after a pickup hit their motorbike on Kishoreganj-Bhairab highway at Darichariarkona area of Katiadi upazila recently . Deceased Johnny Mia (22) is the son of deceased Chan Mia of Duburia village of Kuliarchar upazila. He worked in a shoe factory in the area.
Police and Eyewitnesses said that after pushing the motorcycle, the driver got down from the pickup and ran away quickly after seeing the situation. After informing the police, they came and recovered the body.
The Officer in Charge ( OC) in Katiadi Highway Police Station Nazmul Islam said that, the pickup could not be identified. Police are trying to detain them. The body was recovered and sent to Kishoreganj 250-bed General hospital for postmortem..
