A free and fair election must be arranged
I am perplexed and feeling deeply upset by the present situation of the country. In my wildest dream I never thought that after fifty years of independence we will have to face such a deplorable condition.
In 1971 we fought for justice with people who were not our kind. But now we are fighting among our selves, like cancer it has invaded our body.
The Awami League government is constantly saying that they have done so many development work, people are much better off than before so it is natural that people will go in droves to cast their votes in their favour.
Then why they are afraid to arrange a free and fair election, it is contradictory. People have had enough. They want peace and stability so the politicians must come to a understanding and save the country from falling apart.

Online games leading teenagers to anarchy
Sakib, a six-year-boy in my village, can easily say hundreds of guns’ name as he implements those in his regular contest in ‘Free Fire’, ‘PUBG’ etc. When his phone is caught up, he doesn’t excuse reviling his parent and even his grandmother too. It is a matter of sorrow that today in our society there are thousands of Sakibs whose first priority is only playing game on computer, let alone studying.
Recently a teenage boy was killed by his friend over playing PUBG game in Manikganj. Isn’t it high time for us to be more careful of our future assets, teenagers? One thing should not be forgotten that our today’s young generation is the asset of future golden Bangladesh.
