Police-BNP clash leaves 35 injured in Gazipur

At least 35 people were injured in a clash between police and BNP leaders and activists in Gazipur on Monday afternoon.
Police charged baton and lobbed tear shells when BNP supporters brought out a mourning procession after holding a meeting in front of its party office protesting against harassment and killing of its supporters across the country.
Police arrested 12 people in connection with the incident.
