Film actor Abdullah Saki dies

Noted film actor Abdullah Saki is no more. He breathed his last at his home in Jamalpur on Saturday at 1:00am. He was 66.
Simon Sadik, Deputy General Secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association, confirmed the news yesterday.
According to family sources, actor Abdullah Saki was buried in the family graveyard in Jamalpur at 11:00am
on Sunday.
At the end of 80s, Abdullah Saki came to the cinema by the hand of noted film director Delwar Jahan Jhantu. After that, he acted in numerous movies in
his career.
Among his most
popular roles was Khan Baba in the movie Premgeet. This character made him well-known to everyone. But in the
last part of his life,
he stayed away from movies. He also acted in movies Mayer Doa, Rastar Raza, Jhinuk Mala, Matir Kole, Goriber Bondhu, Harano Prem, among others.
