Youth stabbed to death at Shahbagh

A young man named Sumon (35) was stabbed to death on the sidewalk of the National Eidgah of the capital on Saturday afternoon.
At this time, another youth named Rocky (32) was injured and admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
According to injured Rocky, they live on the sidewalk next to the Eidgah ground adjacent to the Supreme Court area. They were taking drugs with many people on the sidewalk. At around 4 pm, a gang of evils asked Sumon for taka 300 to buy heroin. Sumon had an argument with them about this. At one point, one of the youths stabbed Sumon in the throat. When they tried to stop attackers, they stabbed Rocky in the back and ran away.
Shahbagh police station Sub-Inspector Mainul Islam told the
 media that the identity of those who stabbed the youths is not known yet. Investigation is on in this regard. Suman’s dead body has been kept at Dhaka Medical College & hospital morgue for post-mortem.
