Shabnaz, Nayeem’s daughters in TVC

Mahdiyah Nayeem and Nameera Nayeem, daughters of celebrated couple actors of the cine world, Shabnaz and Nayeem are making their debut in the showbiz arena through
performing as models in a television commercial (TVC) for Bata. The shooting for the TVC was done in the middle of this month and will be released on different TV channels on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Azha.
Nayeem and Shabnaz were very popular pair in the country’s movie arena in the 90s. Nayeem debuted as a film actor in 1991 with the movie Chandni, directed by Ehtesham. In that movie his co-artiste was Sabreena Taniya Shabnaz. In almost all of his movies, Nayeem was paired with Shabnaz and later in 1994, they got married. While talking about performing as a model in the TVC Nameera Nayeem said, “We didn’t have any interest to work in the media. Though we, two sisters, got the opportunity to perform together as models in a TVC, we agreed to work.” Actress Shabnaz said, “Though their father hero Nayeem became a model for the TVC of Bata, so, from that affection, Nayeem and I gave them permission to perform as models for the TVC of Bata.”
Actor Nayeem shared his feelings by this way, “Mahdiyah and Nameera are my two most beloved daughters. They are expressing interest to do the wor, and I was also involved with the TVC of Bata 35 years ago, so it can be said that I have allowed them to do the work with a lot of emotions. Everyone will pray for my family, for my daughters.”
From time to time, Nayeem uploaded videos of his two daughters singing songs. Generally in those videos, Nayeem can be sighted playing a musical instrument while his elder daughter Mahdiyah renders the song. Mahdiyah has already been appreciated because of her singing through social media, while Nameera Nayeem seems to have an interest in sports, Nayeem added. Nameera and Mahdiyah went to York University in Canada and finished their early studies at The Aga Khan School in Dhaka.
