Unwarranted speed breakers

West Malibagh and Bashabo are burdened with unnecessary number of speed breakers. Whosoever planned and whoever constructed it are giving immense sufferings to city residents, particularly women and patients.
We agree that speed breakers are necessary surely to stop rush driving in the residential areas by a section of wild drivers, who care a little for human lives. Howbeit, we think that one speed breaker may be constructed in the middle of a road in the Dhaka residential areas but there can be no speed breaker on roads and highways.
We like to request the city corporation officials to visit West Malibagh and Bashabo and to take action accordingly for comfort of Dhaka residents.

Road needs repair

The Tilpapara-South Goran Road from city corporation office to Ali Ahmad School and College needs repairs on urgent basis because most of the parts thereof abound with holes. Passengers traveling by rickshaws, cars and microbuses feel serious jerking and patients will think twice before using this road.
Nonetheless, in view of the bad condition of the road, we request the Dhaka South City Corporation to look into the matter for rapid repairs.
