Ctg to have 4 lakh corona vaccines today

 4 lakh 56 thousand corona vaccines are reaching the port city of Chattogram today (January 31). These vaccines in 36 cartons will be kept in the EPI store of the Chattogram Civil Surgeon’s Office.Chattogram Civil Surgeon Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed this information to the media yesterday .
He said that vaccination activities would be carried out in metropolitan areas under the supervision of city corporations and upazila level UNO.
According to the registration calculations, the vaccine will be supplied from the EPI store to the city corporation and upazila level as per the demand. The civil surgeon said that even if the vaccine arrives on Sunday, it will not be possible to give the vaccine immediately.
After the training of those involved in this work, vaccination distribution activities may start from February 5 in Chattogram .
Initially, 15 vaccination centers in the metropolitan area have been finalized by the City Corporation Corona Vaccine Provisioning Committee. According to the decision of the committee, corona vaccine will be distributed in these 15 centers of the city.
On the other hand, corona vaccine will be provided in the upazila health complexes at the upazila level.
Priority enlisted people must register online to get the vaccine. Vaccines cannot be taken without registration, sources said.
