Tariqul Islam’s Manikchand Bangladeshi

Shooting of a movie titled Manikchand Bangladeshi began in old Dhaka under the direction of Tariqul Islam. Tariqul has also written script, story and dialogue of the movie. Rashed is acting in the title role of the movie.
Producing under the banner of Maltina Production Tariqul has taken three years planning to make the movie.
While talking about the movie Tariqul said, “Manikchand Bangladeshi is my dream movie. For this reason, I am making the movie with very much dedication and sincerity. Everybody is cooperating me while giving direction of the movie. I hope I can give a nice movie to the film-lovers.”
Veteran actor Masum Aziz, noted journalist Golam Mawla, among others, are also acting in the movie. Tariqul last made a play titled Bewarish Manush to cast Tarin and Azad Abul Kalam.
Gaogeram-er Manushjon, Kagoj-er Phul, Bou Shwashuri Therapy, etc are Tariqul’s directed mentionable TV plays. But now he wants to engage himself with film direction, he said.
