Dithi lends vocal for her father`s written first song

Noted lyricist, film director, storywriter and producer Gazi Mazharul Anwar first wrote lyric for the play-back song for late Subhash Dutta directed film Ayna O Oboshishto. Satya Saha composed music of the song. Bashir Ahmed and Anjuman Ara Begum lent their vocals for the song.
To pay tribute to her father, Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s daughter, popular singer Dithi Anwar lent her vocal for the song. Soundhacker re-arranged the song while singer Yousuf Ahmed Khan has made music video of the song.
While talking about the song Dithi Anwar said, “This song, composed by my father, was a milestone in the country’s play-back arena. It was my father written first play-back song. The song takes a special place in the mind of my father. He has also emotional feeling in this regard. For this reason, I have also liking about the song. It is true that I couldn’t render the song like Anjuman Ara Aunty. But I tried my level best to render the song by own way.”
Meanwhile, Dithi also lent her vocal for a new project of her father. Five other singers will also render the songs under the lyrics written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar. Therefore, Dithi also rendered another song under Yousuf Ahmed Khan’s music arrangement.
According to Dithi, these songs will be released one after another. From next month, Dithi hosted Maasranga TV’s musical show Ichchhey Gaan-er Dupur will start from next month, Dithi said.
