‘Son’ kills father in K’chhari

UNB, Khagrachhari :
A retired bank official was killed allegedly by his son at Kolabagan area of sadar upazila on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Alef Khan, 67, a retired official of Janata Bank and resident of the area.
Family members alleged that Jahangir Alam Khan used to torture his father for money, said Md Rashid Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Khagrachhari Sadar Police Station.
Jahangir locked into an altercation with his father at night. At one stage, he strangulated his father to death, claimed the family members.
