IEDCR advices to be alerted on tour abroad

Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) on Monday advices people to be alerted on tour abroad as the coronavirus spread different countries.
“The virus has been spread out of China. So the Bangladeshi nationals should be alerted over foreign tour,”
said IEDCR Director Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora at a press briefing in her office.
She said, “It is not any formal warning or prohibition, but it is advice to take precautionary measures to be refrain from unnecessary tours abroad to be safe from the virus.”
It has to be ensured that the coronavirus would not be spread by any Bangladeshi travelers travelling abroad in this time.
“World Health Organisation (Who) have not identified the source of the virus in different countries. So, our people have to be alert to travel those countries.
If anyone travel any of those country and return home after infecting with the virus, then it will be difficult to prevent spreading of the novel coronavirus,” Dr. Flora said.
