Two labourers killed at Matarbari brick-field

Two labourers were killed in a brick-field at Matarbari under Moheshkhali Upazila on Tuesday .
This incident occurred in the Haiti Bridge area on Chattaitali Matarbari link road at 7:30 pm . The deceased workers were identified as Sakeb Uddin, 22, son of Nasir Uddin of Matarbari middle village, Pu of Abdul Karim of Fuljana Mora village of the same union.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital. UP Chairman Md. Ullah and Matarbari police camp in-charge Anisul Islam confirmed the matter.
Witness Anisul Islam said, a passenger car coming from the side of Matarbari was fall down in a ditch while going to Matarbari, a brick-laden dumpar.
One worker died on the spot. More than 3 workers were injured in this incident.
 One more worker dies on the way to Chakaria hospital.
According to local sources, Manik Mia, son of late Taleb Ullah of the deceased, died in the accident.
 Driver Russel was son of Osman Gani of the same area. Moheshkhali Police Station OC Pravesh Chandra Dhar said, legal action will be taken.
