JS committee for hygienic environment at public hospitals

Parliamentary Standing Committee on public account on Sunday recommended for ensuring hygienic environment at all the public hospitals.
The recommendation came at the 61st meeting of the parliamentary committee held at the Jaitya Sangsad Bhaban here, according to an official handout here.
With Committee Chairman Dr Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir in the chair, the meeting also was attended, among others, by committee members M Abdus Shahid, Mohammad Amanullah, M Rustam Ali Farazi, AFM Ruhul Haq, M Afsarul Amin, Moinuddin Khan Badal and Rebeka Momin.
The JS committee also has recommended for quick disposal of all the decisions of the Health and Family Welfare Ministry which remains pending for long days since 2008-2009 fiscal years, it said.
Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) Masud Ahmed, Health and Family Welfare Secretary M Sirajul Islam, high officials including Post and Telecommunication secretary M Faizur Rahman Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
