Five-day art exhibition begins July 15

A five-day art exhibition and competition will begin from July 15 at Dhanmondi Drik Gallery in the city marking the 18th founding anniversary of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu will inaugurate the exhibition as the chief guest at 4.30pm, said a press release on Monday.
The exhibition will remain open from 3pm to 8pm. Initially, 100 paintings have been selected from the 70 contestants and the three best paintings will be awarded.
Marking the founding anniversary, the Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry has taken others programmes, including a special discussion at International Mother Language Institute auditorium on July 16.
Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu will attend the discussion as the chief guest while State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry RAM Obaidul Muktadir Chowdhury will remain present as special guests.
Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Secretary Naba Bikram Kishore Tripura will preside over the discussion.
