Airtel network restored Subscribers suffered day-long

Kamruzzaman Bablu :Airtel network was restored on Wednesday night after a day-long sufferings by its subscribers. The network went out of order early Wednesday due to technical glitches in about 1,000 stations of the company in Dhaka and 10 other districts.Protesting it, thousands of Airtel subscribers staged demonstration in front of its customer care centres in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Comilla, Chandpur and other districts from early morning.The subscribers staged demonstration in front of its Dhanmondi office around 10:30am, said Nur-e-Azam, Officer-in-Charge of the capital’s Dhanmondi Police Station.”But the glitches, however, had no connection with the bio-metric SIM re-registration.”About the incident, Airtel authority also submitted a allegation to the Chairman of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) on Wednesday.
