N’ganj locals hand over drug dealer to police

In Araihazar, Narayanganj, locals handed over a police constable named Imran Hossain and a drug dealer named Masum to the police, accusing them of involvement in robbery and aiding drug trade.
Imran Hossain is currently stationed at Rupganj Police Station but previously served in Araihazar. Masum, on the other hand, is the son of Naim from Maruadi Dewanpara village in the upazila. The duo was apprehended late Thursday night in the Maruadi area of Brahmmandi Union.
According to local residents, Imran had long been involved in various criminal activities in the Maruadi area of Brahmmandi Union. They alleged that he collaborated with local criminals, using his police uniform and handcuffs to facilitate robberies and the drug trade.
