Square Pharma declare 100pc Cash Dividend: Square Pharmaceuticals Limited declared 100 per cent Cash Dividend to its Shareholders for the year ended 30 June, 2022. The declaratiuon came out through its 56th Annual General Meeting held virtually on Saturday. Chairman of the company Samuel S Chowdhury presided over the AGM. Ratna Patra, Vice Chairman, Tapan Chowdhury, Managing Director, Kazi Iqbal Harun, Director, Syed Afzal Hasan Uddin, S.M. Rezaur Rahman, Independent Directors, Md. Kabir Reza, Head of A&F, Md. Zahangir Alam, Chief Financial Officer and Khandaker Habibuzzaman, Company Secretary attended the meeting. The turnover, gross profit and net profit (After Tax) for the year ended 30 June, 2022 were Tk. 6,641 crore, Tk. 2,964 crore and Tk. 1,818 crore respectively. Turnover and Net Profit rises to 13.81% and 13.98% respectively during the year under review. The company contributed an amount of Tk. 1,472 crore to the National Exchequer.

The guests of the Shadow Parliament, organized on the occasion of the International Migrants Day, Planning Minister M. A. Mannan, Expatriates’ Welfare Secretary Ahmed Munirus Saleheen, Chairman of Debate for Democracy Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiran, MD of Boesel Dr. Mallik Anwar Hossain were seen in the competition with judges with the champion Comilla Victoria College and the runners-up World University of Bangladesh holding trophies.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 of Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA) was held on Thursday at Officers Club Dhaka. Md. Habib Ullah Dawn, President of BARVIDA chaired the meeting while the Secretary General, Vice-Presidents and the Executive Committee Members attended. Former Presidents and Secretary Generals of the ogranizaition also joined the meeting. Around 370 members of the Association were present at the AGM.
