Emerald Oil conducted it’s all pending AGM: All pending Annual General Meetings of Emerald Oil Industries Limited recently held through virtually. Md. Safiqul Islam, Independent Director and Chairman of the company, presides over its 10th to 15th AGM while its Directors, Shareholders were present. The AGM approved 2 percent cash dividend to the shareholders (except previous sponsors and directors holding 30.45% shares) for the year 30th June 2022. Independent Directors Professor Dr. Prashanta Kumar Banerjee, Dr. Santus Kumar Deb, Md. Liakot Hossain Moral, Mohammad Golam Sarwar, Shahinoor Khanum, and Directors nominated by Minori Bangladesh Limited. Md. Nasir Sikder, Mohammad Murad Hossain and Md. Rubel Sarder were participated in the meetings. Md. Afzal Hossain, Managing Director and Md. Ashraful Alam, CFO and Md. Emran Hossain, Acting Company Secretary were also participated in the meetings.

Global Islami Bank holds Half-Yearly Business Review meeting: Global Islami Bank arranged “Half Yearly Business Review Meeting-2023” on Saturday at the bank’s head office virtually. The main purpose of the conference was to review the current business position of the branches and to analyze the potential opportunities for future growth through proper utilization of human resources, said a press release. Syed Habib Hasnat, managing director of the bank inaugurated and presided over the conference. Among others, additional managing directors Md. Golam Sarwar and Kazi Mashiur Rahman Jayhad, deputy managing directors Ataus Samad and Sami Karim, all divisional heads and branch managers’ of the bank attended the conference.
