Nicolas Cage stays in hotel after disaster
Hollywood star Nicolas Cage is temporarily homeless after a massive sinkhole formed in front of his $10.5 million mansion in Malibu, California, forcing him and his family to stay in a hotel.
The sinkhole, measuring 25 feet deep and 30 feet by 60 feet in diameter, formed in the driveway of Cage’s oceanfront home on September 8.
The disaster was caused by the powerful storm surge, heavy rains and severe coastal erosion that hit California in early September.
