13 EBL employees receive the Chairman Award

Eastern Bank PLC Chairman Anis Ahmed and Managing Director and CEO Hassan O Rashid pose with the recipients of the ‘Chairman Award’ at the EBL Outstanding Performers Recognition programme held at the bank’s headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday. Thirteen EBL employees received the award for earning outstanding ratings for five consecutive years, while over 200 other staff members were recognised for their performance.

Thirteen employees of Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) have received ‘the Chairman Award’ for earning outstanding ratings for the past five consecutive years.

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) Chairman Anis Ahmed was present at the EBL Outstanding Performers Recognition programme held at the bank’s headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday.

EBL Directors and CEO Hassan O Rashid were also present at the event, says a media release.

Over 200 employees were also recognised for their outstanding performance in 2024-25 at the function.
