Sanitary napkin vending machines planned for 10 edu institutions

Sanitary napkin vending machines will be installed at 10 selected educational institutions across the country under a partnership aimed at improving female students’ access to menstrual hygiene products.

EBL Women Banking, Square Toiletries Ltd and Vertical Innovations Ltd have signed a strategic partnership to implement the initiative, according to a press release issued today.

Under the agreement, EBL will support the installation of the vending machines, while Square Toiletries and Vertical Innovations will contribute by supplying products, installing the machines and providing technical support.

The initiative aims to make essential menstrual hygiene products more accessible to female students while promoting menstrual health awareness and creating a supportive environment in educational institutions.

According to the press release, the programme is designed to address practical menstrual hygiene needs on campuses and encourage greater awareness of menstrual health among young women.
