I have been a victim of criticism from beginning: Rashmika

Be it the South Indian industry or Bollywood, Rashmika Mandanna’s
busyness and success are everywhere.

She is one of the most successful actresses at the box office in the last few years.

But even then there is no shortage of criticism. Rashmika is criticised for her limited pronunciation and sometimes for her ‘weakness’ in acting.

On the one hand, some netizens consider her a ‘national crush’, while on the other hand, they do not hesitate to criticise her.

The ‘Animal’ actress has now responded openly to these criticisms.

Rashmika recently appeared on an episode of ninth season of ‘Koffee with Karan’ with her husband and actor Vijay Deverakonda, where she was asked about the criticism.

Rashmika said, “Ever since I started working in cinema, I have been subjected to criticism or condemnation for some reason or the other.

Sometimes my acting, sometimes my language, sometimes my accent have been discussed. But I never wanted to draw any boundaries for myself.

I wanted to work in all industries, not just in one industry. I didn’t want to speak just one language, I wanted to speak all languages.”

She also said, “I have worked in various types of films since the beginning of my career.

So now when I can be a part of two great films like ‘Animal’ and ‘The Girlfriend’, I feel very satisfied as an actress because, I can play all types of roles.

Two completely different films. Yet I have acted in both. That is exactly what I wanted.”
