Engine failure delays Kishoreganj express

The Dhaka-bound Kishoreganj Express, an intercity train, remained at Kishoreganj Railway Station due to an engine failure on Wednesday.

The train was scheduled to depart for Dhaka at 4 pm but had not begun its journey by 5:25 pm.

Kishoreganj Railway Station-master Khalilur Rahman confirmed the incident.
He said the train was scheduled to depart at 4 pm but remained at the platform due to the engine failure.

He added that it was not yet possible to say when the engine would be operational or when the train would depart.

The delay caused inconvenience to passengers and raised concerns about further disruptions to the train’s schedule.
