Birth, death reg services suspended for 7 days

Birth and death registration services will remain suspended for seven days due to maintenance of the Birth and Death Registration Information System (BDRIS) software.

In this regard, the Office of the Registrar General, Birth and Death Registration, issued a notice no October 19, reports BSS.

Maintenance of the BDRIS software will be carried out from 6:00 am on October 19 to 6:00 am on October 25.

All activities related to birth and death registration will remain suspended during this period, said the notice signed by Assistant Registrar General Md Mehedi Hasan.

The notice was sent to the relevant offices, including city corporations, deputy commissioners, upazila nirbahi officers, municipalities, cantonment boards and all registration offices across the country.
